ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,400,776, issued on Aug. 26, was assigned to TDK Corp. (Tokyo).
"Magnetic core and method for manufacturing same, and coil component" was invented by Isao Nakahata (Tokyo), Hiroyuki Matsumoto (Tokyo) and Osamu Hirose (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A magnetic core excellent in productivity, having stable magnetic characteristics, and easy to handle for a coil device including a conductor and is formed by stacking a plurality of soft magnetic thin ribbons divided into small pieces."
The patent was filed on March 1, 2019, under Application No. 16/967,934.
