ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,500,038, issued on Dec. 16, was assigned to TDK Electronics AG (Munich).
"Anode lead tab and electrolytic capacitor" was invented by Laszlo Dobai (Szeleste, Hungary) and Zita Dominkovics (Sarvar, Hungary).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In an embodiment an anode lead tab is configured for externally contacting an anode foil in an electrolytic capacitor, wherein the anode lead tab has a roughened surface configured to protect the anode lead tab from surface dissolution."
The patent was filed on April 5, 2022, under Application No. 18/553,921.
