ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,440,735, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to TAYLOR MADE GOLF COMPANY INC. (Carlsbad, Calif.).

"Golf club heads" was invented by Mark Vincent Greaney (Vista, Calif.), Todd P. Beach (Encinitas, Calif.), Christopher John Harbert (Carlsbad, Calif.), Joseph Henry Hoffman (Carlsbad, Calif.) and Christopher Rollins (Carlsbad, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A golf club head having a nonmetallic crown bonded to a frame in close proximity to the face."

The patent was filed on Dec. 15, 2022, under Application No. 18/082,271.
