ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,363,443, issued on July 15, was assigned to Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Mumbai, India).

"Method and system for zone-wise adaptive illumination of objects" was invented by Amit Swain (Kolkata, India), Arindam Ray (Kolkata, India), Tapas Chakravarty (Kolkata, India), Chirabrata Bhaumik (Kolkata, India) and Smriti Rani (Kolkata, India).
