ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,424,627, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to TALGA TECHNOLOGIES Ltd. (Cambridge, Great Britain).

"Anode material including carbon coated elliptical secondary graphite particles composed of aggregated ground primary particles, and method for producing the same" was invented by Claudio Capiglia (Osaka, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An anode material comprising secondary graphite particles that predominantly have a form that approximates an oblate spheroid and have a D50 of less than about 5 microns."
