ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,338,242, issued on June 24, was assigned to Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. (Osaka, Japan).

"TYK2 inhibitors and uses thereof" was invented by Craig E. Masse (Cambridge, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides compounds, compositions thereof, and methods of using the same for the inhibition of TYK2, and the treatment of TYK2-mediated disorders."
