ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,354,804, issued on July 8, was assigned to TAIYO YUDEN Co. LTD. (Tokyo).

"Multilayer ceramic electronic device" was invented by Tomoaki Nakamura (Tokyo), Mikio Tahara (Tokyo), Hiroki Shimizu (Tokyo), Masaru Saito (Tokyo) and Tomio Inoue (Tokyo).
