ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,302,658, issued on May 13, was assigned to TAIWAN SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING COMPANY LTD. (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

"Semiconductor image-sensing structure" was invented by Wei-Lin Chen (Tainan, Taiwan), Yu-Cheng Tsai (Tainan, Taiwan), Chun-Hao Chou (Tainan, Taiwan) and Kuo-Cheng Lee (Tainan, Taiwan).
