"Agent for enhancing lutein's blue light blocking capacity, and cosmetic composition" was invented by Makoto Takahashi (Osaka, Japan) and Hiroto Toshima (Osaka, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An object is to provide a new cosmetic composition that can prevent or reduce skin "photoaging" caused by blue light.
