ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,298,419, issued on May 13, was assigned to T-MOBILE INNOVATIONS LLC (Overland Park, Kan.).
"User geographic location attestation by a wireless communication system" was invented by Oliver Coudert (Arlington, Va.), Lyle Walter Paczkowski (Mission Hills, Kan.) and Bharatwajan Raman (Arlington, Va.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A wireless communication network attests to a geographic location of a wireless user device. An access node receives signaling transferred by the wireless user device that indicates the wireless user device, the geographic location, satellite signal characteristics for the geographic location, and terrestrial signal...
