US Patent Issued to Systems Protection Group US on Dec. 9 for "Braided tubular textile sleeve with hybrid yarns and method of construction thereof" (Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,492,495, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to Systems Protection Group US LLC (Northville, Mich.).

"Braided tubular textile sleeve with hybrid yarns and method of construction thereof" was invented by Alexa Brady (Ardmore, Pa.) and Cassie Marie Malloy (Trappe, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A protective textile sleeve includes a braided, tubular wall extending lengthwise along a central longitudinal axis between opposite ends. The wall includes hybrid yarns, with each of the hybrid yarns including at least one multifilament wrapped about a monofilament, such that the monofilament is concealed by the at least one multifilament."
