ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,408,563, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to Synopsys Inc. (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
"Superconducting anti-fuse based field programmable gate array" was invented by Jamil Kawa (Campbell, Calif.), Stephen Robert Whiteley (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Eric M. Mlinar (Santa Clara, Calif.) and Robert Freeman (Menlo Park, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A superconducting anti-fuse based field programmable gate array (FPGA) may include a first set of superconducting passive transmission lines, a second set of superconducting passive transmission lines, and at least one anti-fuse located at an intersection of a first superconducting passive transmission...
