ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,361,990, issued on July 15, was assigned to Synopsys Inc. (Sunnyvale, Calif.).

"Memory with external clock synchronized operation" was invented by Harold Pilo (Underhill, Vt.), Sanjiv Kainth (Fremont, Calif.) and Anurag Garg (Cupertino, Calif.).
