US Patent Issued to SYMRISE on Sept. 2 for "Polyurea microcapsules and liquid surfactant systems containing them" (New Jersey, New York Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,404,480, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to SYMRISE AG (Holzminden, Germany).

"Polyurea microcapsules and liquid surfactant systems containing them" was invented by John Teffenhart (Edison, N.J.), Timothy Evans-Lora (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Keith McDermott (Bound Brook, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Suggested are polyurea microcapsules obtainable or obtained by reacting di- and/or polyisocyanates and guanidine carbonate in the presence of chemically modified biopolymer colloidal protection agents.
