ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,467,117, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to Syddansk Universitet (Odense, Denmark).
"Method of recovering iridium" was invented by Shuang Ma Andersen (Odense S, Denmark) and Raghunandan Sharma (Odense M, Denmark).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a method of recovering iridium in the form of iridium solutions, metal, oxides or salts from a body, such as a spent catalyst, comprising iridium oxides."
The patent was filed on Oct. 21, 2020, under Application No. 17/755,113.
