ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,501,884, issued on Dec. 23, was assigned to SWISSINNO SOLUTIONS AG (St. Gallen, Switzerland).
"Bird feeding system" was invented by Dennis Walstad (Elburn, Ill.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A bird feeding system, which is characterized by the fact that it prevents birds using the bird feeding system from scattering or dropping food on the ground by catching scattered or dropped feed in a tray and rendering it inaccessible to the birds."
The patent was filed on Jan. 5, 2021, under Application No. 18/270,382.
