ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,440,669, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to SWIFT SYNC INC. (Miami Shores, Fla.).
"Transvenous intracardiac pacing catheter" was invented by Christian Marin Y Kall (Miami Shores, Fla.) and Eduardo Demarchena (Miami Shores, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The embodiments described herein relate to a self-positioning, quick-deployment low profile transvenous electrode system for sequentially pacing both the atrium and ventricle of the heart in the "dual chamber" mode, and methods for deploying the same."
The patent was filed on Nov. 30, 2023, under Application No. 18/525,842.
