ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,253,140, issued on March 18, was assigned to Suspa GmbH (Germany).

"Temperature compensating valve for gas springs" was invented by Tyler S. Hernden (Grand Rapids, Mich.), Dennis R. Baker (Grand Rapids, Mich.), Ryan T. Anderson (Grand Rapids, Mich.), Kevin T. Braat (Grand Rapids, Mich.) and D. Stuart Atwater (Grand Rapids, Mich.).
