ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,311,380, issued on May 27, was assigned to Superior Industries Inc. (Morris, Minn.).

"Recirculating crushing plant" was invented by Matt Voigt (Morris, Minn.), Matt Esson (Morris, Minn.) and Robert Taylor (Morris, Minn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for crushing aggregate material. In some embodiments, in an operating configuration a recirculating conveyor deposits material previously crushed by a crusher into the feed inlet of the crusher. In some embodiments, the recirculating conveyor is pivoted inward about a vertical axis into the operating configuration."
