ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,487,499, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to SUPERC-TOUCH Corp. (New Taipei, Taiwan).
"Electrophoresis display" was invented by Hsiang-Yu Lee (New Taipei, Taiwan), Shang Chin (New Taipei, Taiwan), Ping-Tsun Lin (New Taipei, Taiwan), Chia-Cheng Lei (New Taipei, Taiwan) and Kun-Yu Chen (New Taipei, Taiwan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electrophoresis display includes a control substrate having a first face and a second face, a driving circuit layer, a control electrode layer, an electrophoresis layer, and an opposite substrate. The viewing face of the electrophoresis display is on the first face of the control substrate."
