ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,426,609, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Suntory Holdings Ltd. (Osaka, Japan).
"Solid composition containing linalool, geraniol, and dextrin and food and drinks containing same" was invented by Takeshi Nakajima (Kyoto, Japan), Keita Kikuchi (Kyoto, Japan), Daisaku Yonezawa (Kanagawa, Japan), Yuji Hirayama (Kanagawa, Japan) and Taisuke Osanai (Kanagawa, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An object is to provide a solid composition which is excellent in capability of retaining linalool and geraniol. A solid composition containing linalool d geraniol has dextrin having a molecular weight of 50,000 or more incorporated therein."
