ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. D1,077,409, issued on May 27, was assigned to SUNCAST TECHNOLOGIES LLC (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.).
"Trash can" was invented by Stephen Whitehead (Elgin, Ill.), Robert Kopp (Elburn, Ill.), Torrence Anderson (Overland Park, Kan.) and Gary Clayton (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.).
