ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,446,639, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Summit Glove Inc. (Minerva, Ohio).

"Drug resistant glove" was invented by James L. Hull (Malvern, Ohio), Christopher J. Pearen (Brampton, Canada) and Ronald J. Thatcher (King City, Canada).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a digit region.
