ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,440,560, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to Sumitomo Pharma Co. Ltd. (Osaka, Japan).
"Substituted pyrimidines as vaccine adjuvants" was invented by Hidenori Kimura (Tokyo), Hitoshi Ban (Osaka, Japan), Yoshiaki Isobe (Osaka, Japan) and Hitoshi Watanabe (Osaka, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides a compound of the formula (1): wherein X, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, Y1, Y2, L, and m are as defined in the description, and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which are useful as a vaccine adjuvant."
The patent was filed on Jan. 23, 2024, under Application No. 18/420,017.
