ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,253,289, issued on March 18, was assigned to SUMITOMO (SHI) CRYGENICS OF AMERICA INC. (Allentown, Pa.).

"Serially arranged circulating cryocooler system" was invented by Stephen B. Dunn (Bethlehem, Pa.) and Santhosh K. Gandla (Allentown, Pa.).
