ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,303,435, issued on May 20, was assigned to Stryker Corp. (Portage, Mich.).

"Distraction frame for effecting hip distraction" was invented by Conrad Smith (Hollister, Calif.), William Kaiser (Campbell, Calif.), Chris Bowles (Hollister, Calif.), Edson Lopes (San Jose, Calif.), Ruben Cardenas (San Jose, Calif.) and Roger J. Malcolm (San Clemente, Calif.).
