ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,239,775, issued on March 4, was assigned to Stryker Corp. (Portage, Mich.).

"Waste collection system with controllers for regulating levels of vacuum drawn on a waste container" was invented by Stephen J. Reasoner (Kalamazoo, Mich.), Bruce Henniges (Galesburg, Mich.), Steven Carusillo (Kalamazoo, Mich.) and Brian MacLachlan (Norton Shores, Mich.).
