ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,226,601, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Stryker Corp. (Kalamazoo, Mich.) and Stryker European Operations Ltd. (Carrigtwohill, Ireland).

"Balloon catheter assembly for insertion and positioning therapeutic devices within a vascular system" was invented by Enkhsanaa Batsukh (Kalamazoo, Mich.) and Huey Chan (San Jose, Calif.).
