ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,503,670, issued on Dec. 23, was assigned to Sterilex LLC (Hunt Valley, Md.).
"Peracid booster" was invented by Walter Daniel Cummings (New Freedom, Pa.) and Gregory Rosenberg (Towson, Md.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Aqueous compositions having an acidic pH comprise a primary organic acid, an ancillary organic acid that is different from the primary organic acid and a biodispersant. The aqueous compositions can be added to peracid containing disinfectant/sanitizer solutions to increase efficacy of peracids contained therein against microorganisms and/or biofilms."
