ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,311,906, issued on May 27, was assigned to Steering Solutions IP Holding Corp. (Auburn Hills, Mich.) and Continental Automotive Systems Inc. (Auburn Hills, Mich.).

"System and method of preemptively readying a brake system" was invented by Joseph A. Labarbera (Birch Run, Mich.), Clinton L. Schumann (Holly, Mich.), Scott T. Sanford (Swartz Creek, Mich.) and Michael Wyciechowski (Grand Blanc, Mich.).
