ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,282,868, issued on April 22, was assigned to STATE FARM MUTUAL AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE COMPANY (Bloomington, Ill.).

"Route scoring for assessing or predicting driving performance" was invented by Brian Mark Fields (Phoenix) and J. Lynn Wilson (Normal, Ill.).
