ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,483,843, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Starkey Laboratories Inc. (Eden Prairie, Minn.).

"Context-based situational awareness for hearing instruments" was invented by Brantly Sturgeon (Burnsville, Minn.), Krishna Vastare (Eden Prairie, Minn.), Gal Davidson (Gan Yavne, Israel), Jingjing Xu (Eden Prairie, Minn.), Majd Srour (San Jose, Calif.), Nitzan Bornstein (Tel Aviv, Israel) and Matan Sivan (Tel Aviv, Israel).
