ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,385,570, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Stant USA Corp. (Connersville, Ind.).

"Multi-way valve with dual actuators" was invented by George J. Mitri (Connersville, Ind.), John C. Long (Connersville, Ind.) and Rick McQuiston (Connersville, Ind.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A multi-way valve adapted to control a flow of fluid to different thermal fluid circuits includes a valve housing, a valve flow controller, and sealing systems. The valve flow controller is arranged in the valve housing to control flow through the valve housing. The sealing systems are configured to seal between the valve housing and the valve flow controller."
