ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,447,737, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Stahls' Inc. (St. Clair Shores, Mich.).
"Heat transfer press projection alignment system and method" was invented by Benjamin B. Robinson (Smithfield, Pa.), Weiyu Zhang (Pittsburgh) and Shubham Saha (Morgantown, W.va.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A projection assembly for a transfer press includes a projector configured to project a projected image toward a lower platen of a heat transfer press, and an adjustment block for adjusting both a rotational position and a lateral position of the projector with respect to the lower platen."
