ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,390,430, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to SpringWorks Therapeutics Inc. (Stamford, Conn.).
"Mirdametinib treatment" was invented by Uchenna H. Iloeje (Stamford, Conn.), Abraham J. Langseth (Stamford, Conn.) and Todd Webster Shearer (Stamford, Conn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to methods for treating certain types of tumors or cancers, such as plexiform neurofibromas (PN), plexiform neurofibromas associated with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1-PN), by administering to a patient in need thereof mirdametinib or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, such as by a certain dosing scheme."
