According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Calycanthus plant named 'PRNCFS' is disclosed, characterized by dark purple foliage, with the dark purple color distinctively extending to both the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves.
