ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,258,095, issued on March 25, was assigned to SPECIALIZED BICYCLE COMPONENTS INC. (Morgan Hill, Calif.).

"Cycle suspension with rotation sensor" was invented by David Weagle (Edgartown, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A suspension assembly for a cycle includes a plurality of links pivotably connected to one another by a plurality of pivots. A rotation sensor measures an angular relationship between two links and a setpoint of the suspension assembly is adjusted based on the angular measurements."

The patent was filed on Dec. 1, 2022, under Application No. 18/060,721.
