ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,300,882, issued on May 13, was assigned to Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (Hawthorne, Calif.).
"Radome with melt-processable fluoropolymer" was invented by Samuel Belden (Redondo Beach, Calif.), Darya Malkova (Seattle) and David Milroy (Kirkland, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An antenna assembly may include a housing including a radome having at least an outer layer made of a melt-processable fluoropolymer material. The antenna assembly may further include an antenna system disposed within the housing."
The patent was filed on Dec. 2, 2021, under Application No. 17/541,062.
