ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,318,689, issued on June 3, was assigned to Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. (Tokyo).

"Reaction track for different spectator groups within an audience" was invented by David Nelson (San Mateo, Calif.), Sudha Krishnamurthy (San Mateo, Calif.) and Mahdi Azmandian (San Mateo, Calif.).
