ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,354,023, issued on July 8, was assigned to Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. (Tokyo).

"Private artificial intelligence (AI) model of a user for use by an autonomous personal companion" was invented by Erik Beran (Redwood, Calif.), Michael Taylor (San Mateo, Calif.) and Masanori Omote (San Mateo, Calif.).
