ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,290,571, issued on May 6, was assigned to Sony Group Corp. (Tokyo).
"Programmable dendritic drugs" was invented by Tracy Matray (Snohomish, Wash.) and Hesham Sherif (Redmond, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Compounds useful as biologically active compounds are disclosed. The compounds have the following structure (I) or a stereoisomer, tautomer or salt thereof, wherein R1, R2, R3, L, L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, M, m, and p are as defined herein. Methods associated with preparation and use of such compounds is also provided."
The patent was filed on Oct. 5, 2018, under Application No. 16/639,499.
