ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,309,520, issued on May 20, was assigned to SONY GROUP Corp. (Tokyo) and SONY PICTURES ENTERTAINMENT INC. (Culver City, Calif.).

"Enabling automatic generation of dailies" was invented by Joshua Rizzo (Stevenson Ranch, Calif.) and Phillip Squyres (Culver City, Calif.).
