ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,368,977, issued on July 22, was assigned to Sony Advanced Visual Sensing AG (Schlieren, Switzerland).

"Delay equalization in event-based vision sensors" was invented by Raphael Berner (Confignon, Switzerland).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An event based pixel sensor system employing delay equalization between differently illuminated pixels."

The patent was filed on Dec. 4, 2023, under Application No. 18/528,158.
