US Patent Issued to SONOS on Dec. 30 for "Packaging system with slidable latch" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,509,275, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to SONOS INC. (Goleta, Calif.).

"Packaging system with slidable latch" was invented by Matthew Ka-Ming Chung (Santa Barbara, Calif.) and Jeremiah Robert Etchison (Santa Barbara, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A packaging system includes box parts connected to one another by a latch assembly. A method is used for installing the box parts with the latch assembly in a packaging assembly."

The patent was filed on Feb. 22, 2023, under Application No. 18/172,507.
