ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,364,818, issued on July 22, was assigned to Solventum Intellectual Properties Co. (Maplewood, Minn.).
"Syringe for storing and dispensing a material" was invented by Andreas J. Boehm (Reichling, Germany), Marc Peuker (Schondorf, Germany) and Paul J. Homnick (Lake Elmo, Minn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A syringe for storing and dispensing a first and a second component of a material. The syringe has a first chamber containing the first component and a second chamber containing the second component. The syringe further has an empty blank chamber that spaces the first and the second chamber from each other."
