ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,377,062, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to Solventum Intellectual Properties Co. (Maplewood, Minn.).
"Antimicrobial solutions" was invented by Ranjani V. Parthasarathy (Woodbury, Minn.) and Joshua E. Schumaker (Minneapolis).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An antimicrobial composition includes an aqueous carrier and a surfactant system. The surfactant system includes a first surfactant including a first polyethylene glycol (PEG) compound with an HLB value of greater than about 10 and less than about 14, and a second surfactant different from the first surfactant, wherein the second surfactant has an HLB value less than about 10."
