ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,304,835, issued on May 20, was assigned to Solable SAS (Lambesc, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A chlorinated water treatment apparatus is disclosed, the apparatus including a tank arranged to receive a predetermined volume of chlorinated water to be treated, wherein the treatment apparatus includes at least one light source arranged to expose the predetermined volume to an ultraviolet radiation of a wavelength within a range from 325 nm to 395 nm."
