ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,468,702, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to Snowflake Inc. (Bozeman, Mont.).

"Secure predicate derivation of queries using metadata" was invented by Zixuan Geng (Bellevue, Wash.), Sangyong Hwang (Sammamish, Wash.) and Nitish Jindal (Bellevue, Wash.).
