US Patent Issued to Snap on Nov. 4 for "Social network pooled post capture" (New York, California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,464,048, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Snap Inc. (Santa Monica, Calif.).

"Social network pooled post capture" was invented by Newar Husam Al Majid (New York) and Nathan Kenneth Boyd (Los Angeles).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A social network image pool system can capture one or more image data items (e.g., image, video) in a temporary persistent post pool. The post pool enables for efficient capture of multiple image data items for publishing in a manner that allows multiple images data items to be captured while preserving the editability of the multiple items before they are published to a social network site."
