ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,216,338, issued on Feb. 4, was assigned to Snap Inc. (Santa Monica, Calif.).

"Eyewear tether" was invented by Yoav Ben-Haim (Culver City, Calif.), Varun Sehrawat (Playa Vista, Calif.), Teodor Dabov (Los Angeles) and John Bernard Ardisana (Torrance, Calif.).
